It depends on the job. When you call (469) 444-9993, we ask a few questions and give you the total. The main things that affect the price are:

  • How many locks and doors are involved

FAQ

Lock Rekey questions

What is the difference between rekeying and changing locks?

Rekeying keeps your existing hardware and changes the internal pins so a new key works and old keys don't. Changing locks replaces the hardware. If your locks are in good shape, rekeying costs less.

Can you make all my doors use one key?

Usually, yes, when the locks share the same keyway, such as Kwikset with Kwikset. If they don't match, we can swap a cylinder so everything runs on one key.

Should I rekey after buying a house?

Yes. You don't know how many copies of the old keys exist. Rekeying on move-in day is one of the cheapest security steps you can take.
